Our History
The History of Watchmen on the Wall Global Prayer Network

Watchmen was birthed from a legacy of prayer & intercession established in Watchmen on the Wall Founder, Pastor Betty Jamison, by her mother Everlina Dixon. Mrs. Dixon instilled in her daughter the importance of prayer & intercession when she faced various test and trials in her life.
Pastor Jamison in turn has shown through example, in her own generation and those generations afterward, the need to build a strong foundation in prayer and intercession to overcome the challenges of life. (Click here for her testimony).
Because of this great legacy instilled by Mrs. Dixon, Watchmen on the Wall Prayer Network has established the Everlina Dixon Legacy of Prayer Award in her honor. This distinguish award is given each year to individuals who have touched their family and community through their lifestyle of prayer and intercession.
Recipients of this award include: Mother Gloria Irving, the late Minister Wille Mae Carter, Pastor Kathleen Dames, the late Minister Ora Lee Nelson, Helen Moten and Prophetess Tonya Carter, all great women of prayer and intercession.
